In addition to the main programme, Canterbury Festival also showcases a wide range of events happening during the Festival fortnight. Here, you can find out how to get involved with the Umbrella, Walks, Exhibitions and Artists' Open Houses. With limited space available to promote events in the brochure and on the website, we regret that not all of the applications received will be successful. The deadline for submitting applications is Monday 19 March 2012.

Umbrella

Whether it is a lecture, a film screening, a dance or a concert, Festival organisers are ready to hear from members of the local community wishing to organise an event during the Festival. You need to have arranged a venue and planned the event before submitting an entry. Walks

Exhibitions

Artists are invited to submit a proposal to the Canterbury Festival Exhibitions programme. Popular exhibitions in years gone by have included sculpture, print work, woodwork, mixed media and postcard collections! Artists' Open Houses

The popular Artists' Open Houses Trails feature over 50 houses with almost 200 artists offering a rare opportunity to experience a diverse range of high quality work in a relaxed setting. Artists in Canterbury, Faversham, Herne Bay and Whitstable and opening their houses. For further information on each individual trail, please contact:
