The Spiegeltent was a great success in 2013 and offered a range of exciting new events in a truly unique setting for the Festival. It was sited at the Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence on Old Dover Road and saw nearly 10,000 visitors across the two weeks.

However, we have secured half the funding needed to bring the Spiegeltent back in 2014 through the Arts Council Catalyst Fund, on the condition that we raise the remaining half over the next year, and we need your help!
Could you help us?
You can help us achieve this by making a donation or by becoming a Friend of the Festival (and also receive priority booking privileges).
If you think you could make a donation (no matter how small) please visit our BT MyDonate page - literally every pound will help us bring The Speigeltent closer to Canterbury.
The Canterbury Festival Spiegel 100 Club is a brand new fundraising initiative in which you can be a winner! You sign up to donate £5 per month towards bringing the Spiegeltent to Canterbury, for a minimum of a year. For the price of two cups of coffee a month, you'll not only be supporting the Spiegeltent, you'll also be allocated a number between 1 and 100. This number will then be entered into a monthly prize draw where you stand the chance to win £50, or even £200 on special occasions!
To join, download the application form here and post it to:
Joshua Ryan, Canterbury Festival, 8 Orange Street, Canterbury, CT1 2JA
(unfortunately the form requires a signature so electronic copies cannot be accepted).
We are working closely with the St Lawrence Cricket Ground, the home of Kent County Cricket, on Old Dover Road where the Festival Spiegeltent is sited. With excellent facilities, the Les Ames bar and plenty of parking spaces, the St Lawrence Cricket Ground makes the perfect home for the Spiegeltent experience!
