11am Canterbury Throwdown
Experienced potters are on hand to help you make a pot. Come along and have a go and take your wonderful unfired creations home. This year's Throwdown is located at the former MultiYork shop in Best Lane and will be open everyday 10.30am-3.30pm from 20th October - 3rd November.
12pm-1pm Festival Parade - City Centre
Bursting with colour and sound, the Opening Day Parade will be taking to the city centre. Join in, follow or watch the uplifting parade along the High Street and into Whitefriars led by the Dutch band, Helmonds Muziek Corps.
1pm-4pm Airhedz - Whitefriars
Airhedz will be performing a selection of eye watering aerial skills from their rig in Whitefriars as well as running taster sessions.
1pm-5pm Track Record Stage - High Street
Live music from Track Record applicants past and present and other local acts. An eclectic mix guaranteed to entertain.
2pm-4pm Anifest - Hospitality Tent, The Spiegeltent
Join staff and students from Canterbury Christ Church University to create a background and characters which will feature in a short stop motion animation. A selection of films made during the workshop will be shown during Canterbury Anifest, which is back in Spring 2019.
