Dr Adele Commins has extensively researched the work of Stanford, presenting her research all over the world.

An accomplished musician, she is currently head of Creative Arts, Media and Music at Dundalk Institute of Technology in Ireland.

This Talk explores how, despite Stanford’s declining fortunes, some of his best music was written during the war.
