Projecting Pentagonism is the first UK exhibition of Dutch abstract artist Gerard Caris (b. 1925). Renowned
for his experimentations with pentagons, a philosophy he refers to as ‘Pentagonism’, the show will include
works spanning over 50 years ranging from Caris’ earliest works made while studying in California with Richard Diebenkorn and David Hockney, through to drawings and unique relief sculptures, demonstrating a studio practice that continues to be innovative.
This exhibition is supported by the Mondriaan Fund, the University of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church University.
Exhibition runs until December 1
